MUSIC-MAN WORLD TOUR CONCERT 2009

I have to admit that the wall-crawling Spiderman, crime-fighter Batman, red-panty Superman, green giant Hulk, the ass-kicking Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan were not part of my childhood memories but I am pretty sure that the Bahamut-Jamming MUSIC-MAN is definitely part of my teenage madness.

2nd May 2009 was a BIG day for the HOManiacs througout Malaysia whereby the MUSIC MAN Wang Lee Hom kicked off his MUSIC-MAN World Tour Concert 2008 LIVE In Malaysia 2009 at Bukit Jalil stadium.

I was then inspired by Hooi Teng and Hooi Boon to Hilton Hotel KL once we've reached KL Sentral. We met a group of Japanese from Ourhome Japan and had a great time chatting with them. 45 mins have passed and I felt like leaving Hilton -- because I hate WAITING! But Hooi Teng insisted to wait, and after went to 'dig some ingredients' from the traffic police, our efforts paid off. The traffic police was nice, told us where to wait, the time, so on and so for.

Lee Hom came out from the lift at 345pm finally and of course, I called him, and then turned his head to the left and waved to me.

The darn 'high tech' Ktm made us late for the concert. And I Lyn messages were making me more and more anxious and even more kan jiong. Reached Bkt Jalil around 7.40pm and we were rushing like hell. My first job was -- Where the hell is the EXPOGIFT booth? Walk and walk and walk and YES THERE IT IS. Got my merchandises in less than 5 mins as I've placed my order online. So that I don't have to stuck in a long queue. I'll went mad. lol. I was lucky though as my loading was just beside the booth and OMG. Such a long queue. Mainly due the stupid security guards were checking everybody's bags.

Audiences were entertained with the performances by the so-called 'SPECIAL GUESTS'. I was like.. duh and naturally, they were booed by the fans. Anyway, do not feel like commenting on their performances and if I do, the list will goes on and on.

After the performances by Danell Lee and Kay, SHARP 8.45pm, the LCD screens which ate up Sony BMG for millions Ringgit Malaysia were finally shined in Bukit Jalil. The MUSIC MAN character appearing on the LCD non-stop. and 5 words to describe it -- GREAT IMAGINATIONS FROM THE MUSIC MAN. As the LCD was playing the animation, Lee Hom was coming down from a 'lift', then, followed by his MUSIC MAN weapon, BAHAMUT.

AWww. The hunk that I've met in Hilton Hotel has turned into a spiky haired MUSIC MAN on the stage. The concert was kicked off with his latest chincked out hit, WHAT'S WRONG WITH ROCK aka 摇滚怎么了！！Well, he didn't perform together with his baby BAHAMUT, he was using his classic guitar instead which has torn his wallet for 5 figures of Ringgit Malaysia. Layers of layers of layers, 20 layers of paint to be exact have made this guitar shinned in Bukit Jalil and a great painting by a Chinese Shifu has made the guitar looked even cooler.

It was then followed by W-H-Y. EVERYBODY WAS SCREAMINGGGGG. Before Lee Hom started with W-H-Y, he changed his classic guitar away and replaced it with BAHAMUT! The mission of his baby Bahamut went on with the rock version of 花田错. BOTH rock and the original versions of this song were very nice and I would like to announce that I am in the mission of searching the rock version of this song currently. hahaha. I've got it but it was full of mad people screaming around. So, someone, please do something on it ;D

The Decent of the Dragon aka 龙的传人. This song originated from Lee Hom's uncle. He modified it into a Chinese Hip Hop and chinked-out version and included it in his album few years back. From that onwards, whenever there's a concert, there's Decent of the Dragon. Nice job, dude =)

MUSIC MAN continued the concert with the latest hit from his latest album -- Heart Beat aka 心跳. After this song, the heartbeat of MUSIC MAN really stopped and he fell into a so called 'hole' and he started to reborn into a.. erm.. MAN?? Then, the LCD screen started to do its job again by playing the animation of how MUSIC MAN reborn into a normal guy who needs LOVE like everybody does.

Lee Hom was back to the stage for his Forever Love, and ya, he came down all the way from the stage to shake hands with his VVIP fans. Hardly to see him from my seat as he was surrounded by a group of mad person. I would like to thank the TRADITIONAL LCD Screen provided by the stadium, which did a job to project the scene and sadly to say, just can see his spiky hair. lols.

Next, was the combination of 安全感, the First Dawn aka 第一个清晨, 流泪手心 and 如果你听见我的歌. Well, I hardly listen to these songs and they were not even appear to be seen in my playlists. They were deadly dull eventually, but listen to LIVE wasn't dull at all because the HIGH atmosphere was there!

At this point, the dancers were ready for 竹林深处. They were came from all over the world and they are the BEST in ASIA. Notice. I am using ARE which means they ARE still the BEST. Anyway, most of them are blonde hair amore twisters.

The MUSIC MAN was then turned into a MAGIC MAN and disappeared from the stage again, yet it was the time for the LCD and the dancers to do their job again. He was appeared on the stage with his purple colour belt, and the melody of GIRLFRIEND aka 女朋友could be heard after that. He was freaking HOT and and eventually burned to see a hunk dancing together with the dancers. He was then continued with his latest hit again, Dirty Love aka 爱的得体. What a song! hahaha.

Woohoo. This was the slot what I have been waiting for. The environment friendly song, Change Me aka 改变自己. The band of Change Me which consists of Xiao Wang, Xiao Lee and Xiao Hong were appeared normally on stage instead of doing 'magic appearance' like what they did in other concerts in countries. Sigh.

He was then took out his violin and started to play on his favourite childhood melody When You Wish Upon A Star and Falling Leaves Back to the Roots aka 落叶归根which was inspired by the movie Lust, Caution. This was a SUPERB performance and definitely has covered my disapointment in the song Change Me. He was damn charm as he was pulling his violin string while presenting the song with full of emotions in his white outfit. While playing, the LCD screens was projecting the character he acted in Lust, Caution. Ladies out there. You will have your nose bleeding profusely and even will melt by his charming-ness.

Falling Leaves Back to the Roots

Coming up next, Andrea's HOTTEST HITS. One Simple Song aka 一首简单的歌. Simple, yet noce. After this song, the prince charming changed himself into a light blue blazer and continued with You're Not Here aka 你不在, The Only One aka 唯一. Sad to say, he was playing with an UGLY piano!! The word ugly was used to describe the piano because you can see the paint on the piano has cracked and, I can withnessed it from my seat. Not only me, Andrea saw it through the LCD screen too. Although the piano was cacat-ed, but the melody wasn't cacat.

Oh yeah, and here comes my alarm alert in the morning. 爱的鼓励. I was like, hmm. How well if Lee Hom can sing this song LIVE to me every morning. Then, I'll be having 100% of 鼓励to wake up and go for classes. Anyway, be practical. haha.

The concert proceeded with Big City Small Love aka 大城小爱, Can You Feel My World and No Reason To Pay Attention to You aka 我完全没有任何理由理你. As we were listening syok syok to these 3 songs, the of Galaxy WORKERS squatted down in two rows just beside to the block where I was seated.

After Lee Hom finished his rapping 在梅边LIVE, he went into a white box, and disappeared himself and OH NO. MUSIC MAN turned into a MAGIC MAN again. The sportlights in the middle of the stadium were ON suddenly. I turned my head back and OMG. IT WAS LEE HOMMM with his CHARASMATIC smile!!! MUSIC MAN aka LEE HOM appeared on the side where I was seated!! Someone has Lee Hom 5 meters away from him in S'pore Concert, and I had.. roughly.. 2 meters away? haha. As he walked pass by us, he sang Heroes of Earth aka 盖世英雄, Needless to say, he was surrounded by a lot of perverts, maniacs, gay lou and lesbians who were trying to molest and touch him. haha.

心中的日月was the so-called last song of the day. No doubt, everybody was shouting and screaming for ENCORE. This is a natural reaction as HOW CAN WE LET THE AWESOME CONCERT TO END SO EARLY JUST LIKE THAT. Even without the people shouting for the ENCORE request, every concert has the encore by right. The encore songs for the MUSIC MAN concert were my favourite song 放开你的心, 爱你等于爱自己 and the song that I scared to have the most in the concert, KISS GOODBYE. The fans were given a flying kiss during the middle half of the latter song. How Sweet was it =) And after the song of What's Wrong With Rock was played again, the concert was officially ends.

After went to the Lee Hom's Malaysia concert, my conclusion is ;-

It is more to commercial based as compared to other countries.
